This is actually the number one reason many people fail to make money online. In any profession you need certain tools. If you are a carpenter you need tools. If you are a doctor you need tools. Every other profession needs certain tools. Internet Marketing is no different. There are certain tools you need to be an Internet Marketer and without them you are most likely going to fail. Internet Marketing is a business/job and if you don’t show up without your tools you want get paid. What would happen if you were a carpenter and didn’t show up without your tools? You wouldn’t get paid because you couldn’t do the job! Here are the basic tools every Internet Marketer should have.

Number 1 is an Auto Responder.
The Auto Responder is what you use to build and manage your lists with. Please memorize this saying as it is the basis for your success. If you do not have an Auto Responder working for you, there is no list, no leads, no follow-up, no conversion, and no income.”

Number 2 is a Capture Page or Splash Page creator.
You need some type of tool that you can easily create Capture Pages and Spalsh Pages for your offers. Also is a way to brand yourself.

Number 3 is something to give away as a gift.
Giving stuff away is the best way to help build your lists.

Number 4 is domain name.
You will want to get a domain name for use with number 5 below. If at all possible you will want your name. Like JohnDoe.com. If you name is already taken use something like JohnDoeMarketing.com or JohnDoeOnline.com. There are a number of variations you can use. Just something easy to remember and sounds good.

Number 5 is hosting.
You will need a place to put your files online, like your gifts,
banners, etc. Eventually you will want to put a blog here as well.

Unfortunately you will have to pay for all these tools each month. They are vital for your
business and are a part of doing business as an Internet Marketer.

Summary

Of all the people that I have talked to or came across that were having a hard time making money online, most were missing almost all the components above. They didn’t have the right tools, they were advertising very little and almost all didn’t use capture or splash pages with branding. So, any advertising they were doing was going to waste.

So, if you fit into this category and are not getting the results you want online these are the reasons why. I know this is a huge amount of information to take in at one time and many of you may not even know where to start with getting the tools you need and how to put the components above in place. I will list my recommendations below and some of the things I use. These are simply recommendations and will give you an idea of the type of tools you need. The main point of this email was to share what I have learned over the years as to what is required to make it as an Internet Marketer online. I know many people will simply just read over this email and keep doing what they have been doing and not change a thing and wonder why they can’t make any money online. But, if I can help at least one person by this email it will be worth it.
